Grocery prices have skyrocketed in Canada (>30% in 5 years) and it's difficult to plan out the cheapest haul route.

I think grocery shopping UIs have been pretty bad in the last couple of years, you can sort by price but it's not very useful - you really care more about the price per unit (by weight).

In DoorDash you can't even sort by price - only filter. It also packages products by store which is an annoying feature you can't change.

Google shopping doesn't show weights nor PPU, and Doordash doesn't show ratings or have the best UI, so I've decided to combine them both.

The 2016s introduced a lot of minimalism, mostly in terms of products, furniture, and interior design so that's what I've decided to focus on.
